About this work

A dark, dramatic print shows an older bearded man in a dark military coat and spiked helmet riding a black horse across a battlefield strewn with fallen figures and a broken cart. Behind him, armored female figures with spears and shields ride through the clouds on pale horses, while soldiers in spiked helmets follow on foot.
