A lithographed poster in black and yellow advertising the Eidgenössisches Schützenfest in Frauenfeld, held from 20 to 30 July 1890. A robed female allegorical figure with a Swiss cross on her chest holds up a laurel wreath, while a bearded marksman in a feathered hat stands beside a Swiss flag and a shooting target. A panoramic view of the town fills the background, and a lion, heraldic shields, and oak and laurel branches frame the lower part of the composition.
